During my time at University I developed an interest in documenting, which has driven my focus in photography. I like to travel, capturing and recording subjects that are not widely seen or known. I am very much curious about the way the mind works; aspects of my work show this by expressing visually creepy or unseen imagery. I like to use different layers and textures to create indistinct unclear representations. I make typography out of solid objects like concrete to demonstrate the different textures, using photography to collate diverse imagery. Within the interest of investigation I documented imprisonment, photographing the inside of both an active and abandoned prison as well as recording undisclosed information from individuals that have recently left prison.
